This Week's Assignment

Hi Hot Chicks!

We're working on the logistics and trying to nail down routes and times to run. So this week, why don't you get your body ready to really run. If you're not used to running and will just be getting out, I asked a running expert what you should do--he said that you should run/walk 30 min. at least 3 or 4 times this week. If you can go out longer, great! But go at least 30 minutes. If you're used to running, then do what you need to do this week to prepare for running a total of 14 miles next week.

We'll try to figure out the logistics in order to really start our runs next week--with our first Saturday run being June 6th!! Is that cool with everyone?

    Unfortunately, I will not be at our first Saturday run though. June 6th is crazy busy with a Friday night small group campout (where I'm going to try to recruit some runners!!) and a Saturday morning family reunion. I'll think about you all as I'm waking up with a crik in my back from sleeping on the ground in a tent.
